Is it really free?

Using Verso locally is free forever. Cloud sync and shared shelves are Verso Plus at €9.99/year — with a free month to try it. Only the person whose shelf it is pays: whoever you invite joins with a free account.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. With an account it’s backed up and synced — no ads, no trackers.

Can I share with family & friends?

Absolutely. Co-owners can curate the inventory; guests can see it without adding or removing books.

Do we share our reading status too?

No. You share the inventory, while reading status, progress and ratings stay personal. Sold or borrowed books remain in your own reading history.
